Scott Trenholm

“The relationships I built in my initial years have stayed strong throughout my career and have provided endless value for future positions.“ Scott started at Medavie Blue Cross 30 years ago as a courier driver, held several roles in Facilities and became interested in IT. Scott has steadily progressed his career path in IT. He started in Desktop Support, then a Windows and Great Plains Administer before moving into various leadership roles including a Team Leader of Technical Services. Scott is currently a Manager Command Center in IT.

Claire Faulkner

“I enjoy helping motivate and engage my peers as part of the Contact Centre’s Engagement Committee.” Claire joined Medavie Blue Cross   January 2015 as a Customer Service Representative in the Contact Centre. This provided opportunity to learn about private insurance and to become  familiar with our core products and systems. Within six months Claire moved into a Senior Customer Service Representative role and in 2016 became a Member Experience Specialist. Claire is currently a Team Leader in the Member Experience Department.

Fernanda Rushton

“From the start it was clear that the culture at Medavie Blue Cross was focused on providing internal employees opportunities to grow and develop. There were great tools and resources and employees are encouraged to take the opportunity to move to different departments and expand their knowledge” Fernanda joined our team in July 2013 and held several Training roles on one of our large IT projects. In 2015, she joined Individual Sales  as a Training Consultant and in June 2017,  transitioned to a Team Leader Individual Administration overseeing a team of Policy Specialists.
