The Opportunity:

The Medavie Blue Cross Talent Acquisition Team is growing and we are looking for 2 Recruitment Coordinators to join our team!  We have a Permanent Full Time and a 12 Month Temporary position available. 

In this role you will work closely with Recruitment Consultants and Hiring Leaders to support the recruitment cycle, find top talent and provide a world-class candidate experience!



  • Support the full-cycle recruiting process, including: posting positions, screening resumes, short-listing candidates, scheduling /conducting pre-screening interviews, coordinating assessments and testing, creating offer letters and processing background/reference checks
  • Post positions on our Career Site, Job Boards, social platforms and other media channels to increase candidate pool    
  • Administer, sort, track, file and acknowledge all on-line resumes and maintain the flow of candidates via the applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors)
  • Coordinate and participate in career fairs and recruitment related events both onsite and virtually 
  • Assist with new hire onboarding process
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with candidates to ensure achievement of recruitment goals
  • Collaborate with other team members and client groups to improve and streamline processes
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


  • Experience in and knowledge of recruitment process and 1-2+ years experience in a Talent Acquisition support function would be a definate asset
  • College diploma in a business-related field or HR discipline
  • Bilingual English and French mandatory (written and spoken)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Focus on accuracy and high-quality work with a sense of urgency
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment while remaining positive and focused
  • Proven ability to provide quality service to internal and external customers
  • Professionalism with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Results-driven
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite    
  • Experience working with an ATS - Applicant Tracking System (we use SuccessFactors) and other recruitment tools and technology
