Your every day with us:

 

As the “go to”, you will provide support to the Vice President, Operations and Vice President, Government. You will play an important role in managing the multiple and complex relationships between senior leaders and outside stakeholders, including the management of confidential and sensitive information, coordination of executive activities in the Dartmouth office with other members of the Administrative Assistant team in other regions.   

 

As a member of our team, you will provide administrative support by managing the logistics of calendars, multiple e-mail accounts, schedules, organizing meetings, travel arrangements, expense management; and responding to incoming routine correspondence, inquiries and phone calls; managing multiple task and issues. You will also collaborate with other support resources and stakeholders and administer responsibilities including the preparation and coordination of documentation for meetings. It’s fast paced but your team makes it a fun place to be. They have memories like elephants, supernatural intuition, and exceptional professional demeanour.

What you need to succeed:

  • You actually like helping people – this is non-negotiable;
  • You are a good communicator – you are clear, concise and friendly but know how to communicate to different audiences
  • You have earned a post-secondary diploma or degree and/or relevant working experience in administration or communication
  • You are extremely skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • You are a problem-solving master, you understand client needs and learn quickly how to get the best results in any environment
  • You bring a positive attitude to everything you do; you are reliable, and your team can count on you
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
  • You have a demonstration high degree of functional and technical skills.
  • And, you like to have fun while you work.
