The Opportunity

 

Office Services is a multi-disciplinary team of over 10 professionals.  As a Distribution Clerk you will be responsible for processing and delivering incoming and outgoing mail in a high volume, fast-paced environment, as well as preparing payments and other materials for mailing.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

•    Sorting, opening, and delivering incoming mail.

•    Processing all outgoing and request mail while ensuring the timely distribution of mailing materials.
•    Updating, preparing, and mailing various manuals.
•    Operating various equipment to process cheques and documents including postage machine, inserter, mail opener and folder.
•    Maintaining mailroom inventory supply including but not limited to envelopes, forms, and postage.
•    Providing exceptional customer service by maintaining or exceeding service expectations to both internal and external customers.
 

Qualifications

 

Education: High school education

 

Work Experience: 3 months of relevant experience

 

Other Qualifications: Must be able to lift packages up to 12 kg; working knowledge of Canada Post shipping system, Canada Post VCD system, Purolator shipping system and Dynamax shipping system, are considered assets

 

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Word and Excel

 

Language Skills:  Proficiency in English is required (written and spoken).
