What you need to succeed:
 

  • Minimum of 3 or more years experience building enterprise grade or web-scale software using Java and Open Source technologies
  • Due to security clearance reason, you need to be in Canada for at least 5 years and your current work status should be either Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • You have earned a post-secondary diploma or degree and/or relevant working experience in business, technology or relevant field.
  • Strong conceptualization ability, excellent ability to translate abstract ideas into working, high quality code
  • Highly collaborative and capable of working in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
  • Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Framework, Oracle, XML, JSON, Junit and numerous JavaScript libraries
  • Familiarity with commonly used IDE tools like Eclipse/ Intellij, Database tools like PL-SQL Developer
  • Working knowledge of Github or other version control tools.
  • Participating in requirement analysis, design and code reviews with a focus on ensuring your solutions are high quality, secure, reliable and performant
  • Strong collaboration skills demonstrated through the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, quality control analysts and security experts, as examples
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

 

Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) prior to your start date.  This includes; Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
