The Opportunity:

Applications are being accepted for a full time permanent Document Indexing Analyst position, as part of the Health and Dental Batch Claims team in the Moncton office.  This position is full time working out of the Moncton Main Street office.  In this role you will be responsible for sorting reports and indexing scanned claims received by Medavie Blue Cross, as well as other administrative duties assigned by your Team Leader.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search ES, MAAX and/or POS for valid ID and Policy numbers;
  • Key ID and Policy numbers in the indexing fields;
  • Place indexing markup icons;
  • Identify the claims type and the region to be indexed;
  • Follow business processes for the awaiting follow up queue, the re-scan requests and the recycle requests;
  • Sort daily reports;
  • Log returned cheques in database;
  • Scan returned cheques and forward to appropriate departments;
  • Mail correspondence to members/providers;
  • Complete any duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:  Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Work Experience:  Minimum six months work experience in an office and customer service environment.
  • Computer Skills:  Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint
  • Other: Experience with quick and accurate data entry
  • Language Skills:  Bilingualism is considered an asset.
