Your every day with us

 

As an implementation specialist, you will have a strong understanding of our Group client benefit plans, including how they are structured and managed from an internal and external point of view. You will be the “go to person” responsible for the implementation of new corporate group business. You will act as the key liaison with other business areas such as Sales and Client Services and be responsible to install client benefit plans effectively using your keen ability to see how elements of the plan design will interact in our information management systems.  

  • Oversight and accountability of all new corporate business implementation projects ensuring all operational requirements are met;
  • Ownership and innovation of the end to end implementation process using best practices to serve and support facing internal and external clients.
  • Successfully manage new business project changes, risks, issues and actions;
  • Regularly communicate project updates with stakeholders to ensure buy in and project success
  • Act as key point of contact with our External Clients and Client Services Teams including attending new group installation meetings and collaborating with operational areas within Medavie Blue Cross to ensure client needs are attainable and met;
  • Analyze and synthesize detailed documentation, such as original proposals and prior carrier contracts and translate these requirements into Medavie Blue Cross specifications; and
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience, including timeliness, quality and project management focus.

 

What you need to succeed

 

  • You have earned a post-secondary diploma or degree and/or relevant working experience in business or a related field. 
  • You have three to five years’ experience working in health insurance. If you have experience in project management or a similar analytical role even better!
  • You have insurance qualifications such as LOMA OR CEBS or a willingness to acquire these qualifications
  • You are a good communicator – you are clear, concise and friendly but know how to communicate to different audiences such as clients and internal stakeholders.
  • You are a problem-solving master, you understand client needs and learn quickly how to get the best results in any environment
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
  • You have strong technical aptitude – you can multitask and navigate between multiple software applications
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is a bonus!
