The core work portfolios for this role includes leadership development (both vendored programs and tailored sessions), coaching and mentoring initiatives, internal consultancy work, team development, and project management for the design and implementation of a range of organizational development initiatives. As a team we challenge ourselves to be innovative, supporting one another and continuously look for ways to improve our ‘offer’ to our organization and our people!
 

The Opportunity:
 

Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Development and a key member of a diverse Human Resources team, you work closely with key stakeholders and HR to design, develop and implement Organizational Development programs. Your subject matter expertise and passion for HR/leadership development will contribute to your success in this role and make an impact on leadership and organizational performance as we shape our desired culture.  
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion our Medavie Values and execute on our Leadership Development strategy and it’s three distinct portfolios by offering programs tailored to specific leadership needs, whether they are emerging, new, existing or experienced leaders.  
  • Research best practices, vendor and/or design, develop and deliver a variety of learning programs such as workshops, focus groups, experiential training at team and organizational levels.
  • Optimize current leadership learning practices, processes, tools, and propose innovative resources and solutions to ensure sustainability.
  • Work in partnership with Human Resources partners and/or business to identify existing and emerging development needs and translate into learning solutions. 
  • Manage the internal mentoring and 360 development initiatives for key talent.
  • Use Talent Management analytics through SAP Success Factors to identify trends and ensure OD program effectiveness. 

 

Qualifications: 
 

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field such as Education, Business, Organizational Development, or Industrial Psychology with a CPHR as an asset.

Work Experience: 5-7 years of HR experience with a minimum of 3-4 years in Leadership Development/Leadership Development. 

Other Qualifications: Psychometric, 360, coaching, leadership, learning assessment certifications and experience in adult learning principles and instructional design methodology are a strong asset.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS-Office is required, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience with on-line surveys and e-learning solutions.  Knowledge of SAP Success Factors talent modules is an asset.   

Language Skills: Written and spoken bilingualism (French and English) is required as corporate initiatives and programming is provided in both languages.
