The Opportunity:


We’re looking for an outstanding System Administrator to join us in supporting our Imaging and Document Capture solution built on a Kofax platform. You will collaborate with your team to turn complex business needs and functional requirements into high-quality software solutions, while following departmental methodologies and standards.


Our ideal candidate is collaborative and team-minded, while also being capable of independent self-direction. You have experience working with Kofax or similar imaging and document capture products and have participated in several enterprise scaled projects. You’re passionate about learning new technologies and are quick to adapt to changes. You're a great communicator, with the ability to present complex solutions to both technical and non-technical people. You see challenges as puzzles to be solved, not roadblocks.


Your everyday with us will consist of:


  • Installation and configuration of Imaging and Document Capture solutions
  • Automate, monitor, manage/configure, secure, tune and support Imaging and Document Capture Solutions
  • Support project releases, testing and problem solving related to Imaging and Document Capture Solutions
  • Creating and maintaining operational documentation
  • Interacting with operational teams, answering questions, and responding to production support requests
  • Work with a team to understand solution scope and vision for assigned projects
  • Communicate and collaborate with peers when assigned activities involving other IT staff

What you need to succeed:


Education:  University degree or community college diploma in Computer Science or a similar program


Security Clearance: You need to be permanet resident or citizen of Canada to be eligible for this position


Work Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years experience administering and implementing COTS software solutions
  • Experience working with a team that successfully delivered and supported medium to large scale enterprise solutions
  • Knowledge of the Health Insurance industry is an asset




  • Experience with Markview, Kofax and imaging related product suites
  • Administration of COTS applications on Windows Servers, RDBMS (Oracle and MS SQL), IIS, REST Services, PowerShell


Language Skills: English required, French is an asset
