The Role:

As an Intermediate Software Developer you'll work on a team that employs leading-edge technologies for mission critical high-performance applications. We're looking for candidates with both back-end and front-end development experience who will work on the core insurance applications that serve as the backbone to our diverse and critical products offerings.

What you need to succeed:

  • Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant work experience, including working on a web development team, interpreting specifications, and developing/testing/documenting software application components
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree (Computer Science) or equivalent work experience
  • Experience of Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, NoSQL
  • Experience of Micro-service architecture and design patterns
  • Experience of REST API
  • Experience of code versioning tools, such as Git Using
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with Relational Database
  • Lead, mentor, and guide less experienced developers in best practices

  • The ability to work with project stakeholders and others in the organization to gain a deep understanding of end-user experience, product/project gaps and be able to generate new ideas that improve the customer experience and drive business success

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently produce results within timelines

  • A problem-solving mindset and ability to translate business requirements into secure and scalable code
  • Someone with a love for project-based work and staying on top of your technical game
  • Open-minded and willing to adapt to existing development standards and structure
